Bio
Rebecca Jean Sutton was born in Portland, Oregon, but not lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She recieved her B.F.A. from Brooklyn College in 2015 and graduated with an M.F.A. in fine arts from Pratt Institute in 2022. Her work is comprised of soft sculpture and a myriad of other materials including ceramic and references the body and its intersection between revulsion and seductiveness. She has attended residencies in New York and Pennsylvania and shown at Penninsula Art Space, Arc Gallery, and with the Beaver Art Exhibition.
